MILLENNIALS

This last week I received a question from a young man about money, pain, and suffering. After answering his letter, I felt to expand on that answer in this blog.
“I’ve heard many people talk about this experience is a “school” of life and how pain and suffering is the teacher, is the 3rd dimension designed as a school for souls to learn and grow through pain and suffering? Another question I have is in regards to money. It seems most people my age are without money and just trying to get by in whatever way they can?”
Money, the root of all evil, many religious men have taught. Suffer, and you shall be closer to the Lord, again many religious men have taught. Then comes along the New Age movement piercing the soul with an arrow of light.
Money is an exchange of energy. Many men have died for this energy; many men seek to control this energy keeping the ordinary people in despair. I find this no different than some New Age teachers that teach life in this dimension is a school for pain and suffering. Yes, they continue to “educate,” or as I say, indoctrinate the mind to believe pain and suffering is a reality one must live to grow. Once you take this belief as your own, you become it. Money is bad because there are people who use it to control? Many have ripped out the arrow of light from their soul, believing some New Age teachers teach the Old Age.
The Christian Bible is filled with messages on suffering; suffering is good, bringing you closer to Jesus. It is not just Christian teachings on suffering; it is also the teachings of all the world’s major religions, including Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and many other religions.
We can look back through the history of the Old Age religion, and how it used pain and suffering to create fear of not being saved, the fear of not being accepted.
What if this New Age is about resolving, transcending these deep-seated beliefs that pain and suffering are requirements for this school?
How many carry subconscious belief money is the root of all evil? You can tell yourself I do not accept this belief, nor do I live my life to other religious standards. Do you?
What if you were able to research all of your relatives from the last 2000 years? Not just look them up, but see what all of them looked like, what were their beliefs, thoughts, desires, and fears. How many were murderers or murdered. How many of them taught their children to deny life to please others? What if you took all of these beliefs, fears, and religious standards from your family of the last 2000 years and changed its name to subconscious beliefs. We are talking about thousands of people and billions upon billions of beliefs. If this is a stretch for the conscious mind to explore, search for the last seven generations.
One of the primary differences between the Old Age and the New Age, the Old Age taught God is outside of you, and the New Age, God is inside of you. During this transitional stage, is New Age consciousness being lured back into old inherited beliefs, especially when they are in pain?
Indeed, the Old Age beliefs about money being the root of all evil seem to be buried deep in our minds’ crevices. But the Bible does not say money is the root of all evil. What it does say is, the love of money is a root of evil. This teaching from the Old Age teaches certain types of love are evil. You do not have to go far to see this belief in action; look at gay marriage. It is not that gay marriage and money are the same, but the Old Age teachings teach specific types of love are evil. What a beautiful age we could live in if humanity were to let go of all the Old Age religious dogma.
It is easy to fall back into the Old Age’s belief structures, allowing its energy to create a perverse reality of pain and suffering. If you are going to study something to assist in your healing, be cautious of hooks. A hook is something that pulls you back to the old, the old reality of pain and suffering. Hooks can come in many different words, deeds, or teachings. Such hooks are, follow me, I will protect you, ascension (New Age rapture), savior, escape, or end of the world. Some may experience many common belief hooks such as this life is horrible. I want to hurry up and die so I can live in the 4th dimension. I am a star child, where the hell is my space ship. I cannot heal myself, so I must be a failure, or I will not seek medical treatment because that means I failed. These are all Old Age beliefs. Be cautious of those telling you what to do, and if you do it, they will offer you protection and salvation from the ills of the world.
Many young people do seem to have issues with money. Ray posted the following statement I agree with it on dreamspacecommunity.com.
“Millennials are a generation that has grown up in quite an interesting time. As adolescents, they learned to live with technology, seeing the Internet and other technological advances shape their world. They have seen the highs and lows of the market, living through the Great Recession and coping with one of the most difficult job markets in American history. Everything around them is changing, from the environment to worldwide personalities. Truly, millennials have seen it all, and it has shaped their perception of the world. Unlike past generations, they are more environmentally mindful, technologically savvy, and socially connected. No matter how we look at it, they truly are one of the most advanced and unique generations thus far.”
There are generations after the millennials, but these younger generations are move focused on technology. Millennials are the ones who are creating change, but this change if often rebuffed by older generations.
What the media is calling millennials is what Jonah calls “Children of the 21st Century”. It is true the parents of the generation called millennials truly let them down. Many of these children who are now adults had difficulty bonding with their parents. Many parents made life issues more important than their children. I have worked with many of these children and young adults, many of them describing their pain of not being in a close, loving emotional relationship with their parents. Is the lack of bonding with some of these young adults why many of them have money issues? Perhaps this is so, but not with all. Some of these young adults have incredible artistic abilities but lack the knowledge of how to promote their ability. Perhaps some do not know just how influential their art is. Some are magnificent writers or speakers but lack the awareness of what to do.
Some will state many millennials are merely lazy. While part of that statement is correct, some of these people are perhaps the laziest in a millennium or two. Although you certainly cannot lump them all together, some of these young adults are incredible, even magnificent teachers. Some of these are not from this earth and have much difficulty in relating to earth consciousness. These young people need assistance. They are not lazy; they are probably the most energetic people on the planet. It is time to support them, lift them, and let them loose on an emotionally passive dying world.
These young adults are the New Age; they are the New Age teachers teaching life does not need to be pain and suffering. It is time to move on from the Old Age. The New Age is here, be here, and be now.
Four Jonah messages that support a more in-depth understanding of this subject are available on CD or download at www.Jonahlifestore.com, “Children of the 21st Century”, “Children of the 21st Century Continues”, “Now,” and “The Money Game.”
