AGE OF THE NEW AGE

by

Hossca Harrison

“When the moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars.” Oops, what happened? Many of you may remember these words from the song “Age of Aquarius” by the 5th Dimension. The birth of a New Age, or a smokescreen of traditional spirituality? I was asked once by the NBC Today Show if I were a New Age Prophet. I answered, “New Age? No, I am too old to be new.” They did not understand my answer then, or years later when other New Age publications interviewed me.

How many remember the New Age human potential movement? Seminar training such as Est, Dale Carnegie, L. Ron Hubbard, Encounter, Transactional Analysis, Subud, and Mind Dynamics by Alexander Everett, which included teachings based on Rosicrucian and Theosophy, as well as Edgar Cayce and Jose Silva who also founded Silva Mind Control. The list can go on and on. If one were to examine each of these teachings, one would find a common theme of Eastern Religion. Perhaps one can observe these origins by searching when the Beatles made Maharishi Mahesh Yogi their public guru.

In the ’60s, you had the hippies experimenting with drugs, free sex, and protesting the Vietnam War and traditional Christianity. This group of young people wanted and accepted the change, so the tread of Eastern Religion began its influence on the United States and Europe subcultures. But what about before the Hippies? What about the Beat Generation who took their teachings from Jack Kerouac in 1948 and called themselves Beatniks? The Beatniks were characterized as anti-conformist youth of New York. The Beat generation sold books, solid black turtleneck sweaters, bongos, berets, and dark glasses. Jack Kerouac is recognized for his writing method, including spiritual teachings to this group based on Catholic Spirituality, jazz, promiscuity, Buddhism, drugs, and poverty. His writings inspired other writers such as Ken Kessey, Bob Dylan, Richard Brautigan, Thomas Pynchon, Lester Bangs, etc. To be a Beatnik, you had to wear the part. Ann Charters wrote that the term Beat was appropriated to become a Madison Avenue marketing tool. Was this the beginning of marketing New Age spirituality for a show versus substance? But wait, what was before the Beatniks? Ten years before, many outcast students and dropouts from Columbia University set out to establish a social movement. The outcast group was started by Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, and William Burroughs. Could this small outcast group have planted the seed?

Perhaps these people have been influenced by William Blake, who used the term New Age in 1809 in “The Freemasonry Journal of the 1800’s”, also titled “The New Age.” Or perhaps as Carl Jung stated, “1940 is the year when we approach the meridian of the first star in Aquarius. It is the premonitory earthquake of the New Age.”

I could go on and on, but to prevent boredom, it seems each generation is aching for a new different age to appear. Is it the will of human suffering that so dislikes one’s own life that they seek to find a better New Age? What makes a New Age popular? What makes a New Age guru?

Could it be what I have termed the Curvature of Universal Nature, occurring every two thousand years, creating a different energy frequency? Could it be humans unconsciously feel a need to change?

What about two thousand years ago? What was occurring on this rock we call earth? Out with the old, in with the new? How long did it take for the new to be a new version of the past? The Holy Roman Empire falls, and it is replaced by the Holy Roman Church, each with armies promoting pain and suffering. What is it in human nature that desires to simulate change? Yes, the more change, the more the old remains. We can use different words, and we can choose from one ancient religion and add to a new religion and pretend it is a change. We can even pretend we do not allow ourselves to recognize self-deception. It reminds me of a person who came to me some years ago with a severe drinking problem. He loved his bottle a day of vodka. He claimed he had healed his issue with vodka and had not had a drop of vodka in six months. He went on to describe how much he now enjoyed wine, two, three bottles a day. He believed he had healed, and he refused to recognize self-deception. He refused to look at the old patterns in his life and why he lost his job, family, and friends. Many believe they have released the past to adopt new vocabulary, which keeps them in their safety net of old painful beliefs.

Is it the will of human suffering to find a religion, a spiritual practice that promotes human suffering? Let’s not limit it to 2000 years. Let’s go 4000, or 6,000 plus years into the past. If indeed every two thousand years the Curvature of Universal Nature occurs, what is it that keeps the old in place? How common was a human sacrifice? How often were virgins used, abused, and mutilated? One can look at the Sumerian Religion, or the Hindi Religion, as recorded in the Vedic Sanskrit, The Babylonian Mystika, or the Greco-Phoenician Eleusian, the Dionysian Mysticism, Judaism, Islam, and Judeo-Christianity to the current.

Why did the gods demand human sacrifice, especially virgins? What about the Hebrew warrior Jephthah, who sacrificed his virgin daughter to God so that he would grant him victory in war, and God was pleased. Why do Christians believe Jesus had to sacrifice himself to save humanity? Again having to do with female virgins and sacrifice, why do so many religions need female virgin martyrs for divine intercession? But even beyond this, look at the Aztecs, Toltecs, and the Incas. They are also required to sacrifice female virgins to please God.

One of my favorites is the story of the Son of God. God sent his son to earth as a human by impregnating a human female. This male child became an initiate in the temple and is seen as divine, giving God the holy word. He was brutally murdered and rose from the dead. What makes this story intriguing to me is his name, Dionysus, a Greek child, his father Zeus, his temple of worship was the Eleusian Mysticism Temple. This occurred in the 6th Century BC. Also, I find it intriguing how this story correlates with the Jesus story and how history paints their fathers’ image as the same. Look up pictures of Zeus and Michelangelo’s portrayal of God on Google Images. Dionysus became the God of wine, but Jesus turned water into wine. They both had superb taste. Of course, we also have Horus, the son of God, born of a virgin, the son of God Osiris, born in a cave, and an angel announced his birth. The similarities of a man/God coming to earth to save, control, or somehow become a controlling authority in religious tradition are sprinkled throughout human history.

I could go on and on with man’s history of religion, the point being each religion evolves into another religion and has through recorded history. Is the New Age being turned into a New Age Religion, based on remnants of Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism, or perhaps a combination of Mysticism of King Solomon, Enoch, the Ancient Eleusian, or even the Celtic Druids?

Throughout my studies of man’s religions, I have found a common thread. God requires pain, suffering, and sacrifice. The majority of the world’s population believes in one religion or another. Is there any thought to understand why most of the world’s population are depressed, give their power away, become passive, and nonresponsive? I work daily with people who claim to be a part of the New Age Movement or somehow relate to the New Age Movement. I do not find the majority are happy, joyful, and are fulfilling their dreams.

I find some who have taken non-ego information to heart and created the change from a painful life into a joyful life. I am proud of their accomplishments. In my experience, those in pain and remain in pain usually have a common denominator, religious beliefs. I will get over and over again, “But I have released my religions indoctrination.” I can go step by step into their patterns and point out how they just changed the words, but not the spirit of intent. They still hold onto religion and its deep hook into the human soul. It appears non-ego information is not a hot commodity in this age.

Could it be that this new age is again evolving into a new religion? My teacher Jonah has taught for nearly 30 years the “The What If Syndrome.” What if there is hell, what if my life is so terrible because God is cursing me? What if I missed the boat on having a savior? What if, what if, what if? The what-if syndrome can go on forever. The religious teachings, which promote pain, and punishment for millenniums, have run deep into the human soul. Even those who say they no longer accept religious beliefs of pain and punishment can still transmit the pain and abuse through their unconscious beliefs from mass consciousness.

An old European expression, “Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.” Indeed, can there be an element of truth hidden deep under religious indoctrinations of pain and punishment? Can there be an element of truth in the Eastern Religions? Could reincarnation be a reality? Perhaps we do not return as a cow or insect, but rather again as a human to continue our journey? Could the law of karma be a reality, but not a spiritual law, but rather a physics law? Perhaps the rapture is about one ascending into their higher intelligence. However, some new age teachers have replaced the rapture with the mass ascension to a higher dimension. Yet could this be another concept polluting consciousness with old age religion? What if all spiritual laws were not laws at all, but rather a lack of understanding of the universe’s intricate workings, which may be understood in future exploration of quantum physics. What if the deities of all these religions, not limited to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, are not deities at all but rather man’s imagination to seek something greater than themselves? Some time ago, a young Greek man sought my counsel and posed the question, “What would occur if I curse Zeus”? I answered him and said, “Before you can curse Zeus, you must first believe he exists. Once you believe he exists, he becomes your God of control. Therefore, young man, what do you choose to believe?”

What beliefs do you choose to impregnate into your mind? What do you choose to accept as truth, doctrine, or fantasy? How powerful is your mind? Do you choose to accept a God of pain and punishment, thus creating a life of pain and punishment, then blame it on the God you choose to accept?

What if the majority took this moment during Curvature of Universal Nature and decided to let go of all old beliefs that promote pain, punishment, fear of being left behind, or fear of not being loved? What if those who genuinely desire a fresh start within a new age make a conscious decision not to bring any religions of pain and to suffer into the equation? What if some new-age teachers were to stop teaching the world is going to end in 2012? What if some of these teachers were to stop leaving a trail of bread crumbs leading you back into religious suffering by merely changing the words? What if this is your time to heal and move beyond the millenniums of human suffering. What if this is your time to stop being a victim of a God looking for a sacrifice? What if the daughter of Jephthah told her father, “Hell no. I will not allow you to sacrifice me to your God.” Is it not time to stop sacrificing our hearts, minds, souls to a God, a religion, a tradition, seeking to be pleased by pain? Is it not time to take our new self in this new age and allow the religions of pain and suffering to fall into the wastebasket of history.

Journey Through Deception

JOURNEY THROUGH DECEPTION

by

Hossca Harrison

2011

The more I travel this planet, the more I realize it is much too small and fragile for so many different governments, religions, customs, languages, and, most of all, hatred from each to all. Some countries build walls to keep people out, build walls to keep people in, and build walls to show the world this is my land do not touch.

In my recent travels to Israel and Jordan, the aura of fear and anger became so repugnant it stopped being a vacation and became a journey through deception. As I walked around Jerusalem looking at all the “holy sites” in the “holy land” and talking to the warrior guardians of such, each had a reason to hate the other side. Each had a reason why they were right, and the others are wrong. Many Jews believe they are God’s chosen people, and God gave them land to establish their settlements. The Jews state this goes back to Abraham and the Israelites, teaching the concept of monotheism. The three largest Jewish denominations, Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Judaism, and Reform Judaism, all maintain God chooses Jews for a purpose because they are descendants of Abraham and have the task of making a singular God known to the world. But wait a minute, the Muslims also claim to be descents from Abraham. According to religious history, Abraham’s firstborn son Ishmael is considered by Muslims to be the Father of the Arabs. The second son of Abraham Isaac is called the Father of the Hebrews. Can you imagine what it was like in that family having a child who became the Father of the Hebrews and his brother the Father of the Arabs? Perhaps Abraham was pulling his hair out, crying out to God, “What have you done?” Instead, he listened to his jealous wife, Sarah, telling him to renounce his son, Ishmael, because she did not give birth to him. She wanted Isaac, the child she gave birth to, to be the only son inheriting Abraham’s wealth. The nice mother figure, Freud, eat your heart out.

Now we have two brothers, the Jews and the Arabs still hating and fighting each other over the land filled with dust and rocks. And yes, don’t forget the Christians who claim a new covenant with God, where God disowns the Jews, so now the chosen people are the mother church known as the Catholics. Wait, another bulletin, the Protestants are now the chosen people. Wait again; it is now the Religious Right who are the chosen people; this can get mighty confusing. Indeed, everyone knows the chosen people are the righteous people going to heaven, and the other people are going to hell. Who knows, by the time hell comes around, there could be a different chosen people, and by now, it seems this God does not have a strong track record.

Knowing this, I walked around Jerusalem, listening to the different languages, smelling the different religious foods and costumes, and thinking to myself. Finally, my desire for years to travel to the “holy land” and “holy sites” became a reality. As a philosopher, this journey was about studying, observing the human religious consciousness being disrupted by godly anger in the three major religions most holy place on earth.

I walked over to the Western Wall, which used to be known as the Wailing Wall, the holy place for Jews to pray. It wasn’t long ago when the Jordanians ruled this part of Jerusalem and did not allow Jews to pray at the Wailing Wall. Now all of Jerusalem is under Israeli control, and the Israelis do let Muslims pray at their most holy site, the Dome of the Rock. I put on a Kippah or, in Yiddish, a Yarmulkah, and walked up to the Western Wall on the male side. Of course, the females have a much smaller area to pray. When I arrived at the wall, I put my hands on the wall to feel the energy. It felt like one thousand elephants stampeding. I felt the energy of pain, suffering, crying out to God with such sorrow, such anger. Why do people do this to themselves? As I looked up above the wall, there stood the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. The Jews pray for the destruction of the Muslim temple to build their third temple in the same location. Then we have the Christians, the other chosen people waiting on Israel to begin constructing the third temple on the same site as the Dome of the Rock. Why? So the antichrist can appear to the world?

I am beginning to think I am in a B rated horror movie, the “holy land,” the “holy sites,” the Chosen People, the Un-Chosen People, and the new Chosen people. Is this why the American Religious Right strongly supports the United States continued economic and military support for Israel? Could this be in part why our American tax dollars are supporting Israel? Could the United States have congressman and senators wanting this third temple built so that the antichrist can reveal himself, thus bringing about Armageddon? The biblical prophecy of the greatest suffering in humanity’s history, so yes, congressman and senators use our tax dollars so Jesus will come and save your ass. Maybe I should change it to a C rated horror movie. Perhaps if CNN or FOX paid more attention, this would be a more exciting story to report on than Weinergate.

The next day I went on a tour under the city of Jerusalem under the Western Wall. There were many large rooms deep under the Temple Mount with narrow pathways leading to the spring. Large carved stones, so large our tour guide stated there is only one crane in Israel that could move these cut stones, and even then, it could not set them where they stand. So who put these stones there? What was built before the Time of Reorganized History became accepted as fact? Could there have been a conspiracy many millenniums ago to cover something up? Could these religions unintentionally be camouflaging something much bigger than religion itself? Perhaps there is an ancient truth being buried here under the city of Jerusalem. Most sense, when something original is presented, it does not take long for it to become polluted by the minds that want to control it. Perhaps something original still exists under this city. Maybe it existed before religion executed ownership of this land of dust and rock?

The following day, I decided to go to the Essene Gate location, a particular place my Teacher Jonah has shared with me many times. Jonah shared with me in 1984 the Essene Gate had been destroyed in 70 AD when Titus’s Roman legionaries destroyed Jerusalem. I still wanted to explore the area, so I asked the concierge at our hotel, which was less than a mile from the old city of Jerusalem, the Essene Gate location. To my surprise, he knew nothing about an Essene Gate, nothing about the Essenes during the first century. This concierge was proud to be born in Jerusalem and had a degree in the history of Jerusalem. “Where did you hear about the Essene Gate?” he asked.

“Look it up on Google,” I said, “you will find many pages on the Essene Gate.” He typed in the word Essene which I had to spell for him. Up came many pages on the Essene Gate.

“Wow!” he said. “I never knew this.”

I found this amusing, but I know how the world’s educational system works through my studies on philosophy. We are taught just what the establishment wants you to believe, and this was a perfect example. I made my journey to the location where the Essene Gate had existed, finding the wall I had expected to find. What did surprise me was that this old Jerusalem section was vacant, with no buildings, no excavation site, just a mound of dirt, grass, and trash. How could ancient Jerusalem be so condensed, people living and surviving on top of each other and just feet away from a tract of land about two acres in size with nothing new and only vacant? Then I remembered Jonah telling me, back in 1984, the Pharisees and Sadducees and others had made a vow to bury the memory of the Essenes. I hope to write about this subject in the future.

I then continued my journey across Jerusalem to what the Jews call the City of David, located in the middle of Silwan’s Palestinian village and home to thousands of Palestinians. Israel annexed the Palestinian village following the 1967 war. The Jews claim this is the home of King David, where he built his palace. The Palestinians claim Israel uses this to take complete control of Silwan and move the Palestinians off their land. The Palestinian claim seems to have some truth. The Elad Foundation, which has jurisdiction over the City of David, seems not to attempt to hide their agenda. The Elad director, Doron Speilman, told Time magazine that the Elad Foundation states its position, “Our goal is to turn all this land into Jewish hands.”

Our Palestinian taxi driver/tourist guide told us, “You watch, and the Jews will claim to find proof of King David by planting something in the ground. Our village will be history.” This hilltop, the City of David, is considered the ancient home of the Egyptians, Canaanites, Judeans, Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Muslims their religious traditions, history, culture, and accepted God of violence. The “holy land,” the “holy sites” continue following the traditions of blood, tears, and human manipulation of history.

The next day I journeyed next door to Jordan and made our way to Petra. Look up the images on Google; perhaps it will astound you as to its appearance of Ancient Greece, except Petra has been around for at least 9000 years, well before Ancient Greece, so where did this architecture originate? I talked with the tour guides who are taught what and what not to speak. Their story of the beautiful buildings carved out of stone are tombs, because they found some mummies. They do not account for the fact the beautiful hand-carved stone buildings are much older than the mummies themselves. I was told the same story while in Egypt that the pyramids were tombs for ancient kings. I hired a young man, a nomad who was one of the last people born in Petra, to take me on his mule the entire length of Petra and back. I asked this young man about the mummy theory. He laughed and stated, “Kings of long ago lived here.”

“How long ago?” I asked.

He stated, “The kings before time.”

Who wants who to believe what? If you step outside traditional beliefs, how are you perceived? While in Jordan and my previous visit to Egypt, I visited many different Muslim types, asking them about their religion. I knew the history of the Muslim faith, but I enjoy seeking an understanding of how the Muslims believe and tell their story of the creation of Islam. They believe the angel Gabriel came to Mohammad and gave him a new religion.

I jokingly asked the Muslim, telling me this, “I thought Gabriel was a Christian angel?”

He answered quite seriously, “Oh no, Gabriel is Muslim. Everyone knows this.”

Studying many different religions over the years, I did know that Muhammad, at the age of 40, claimed to go into a meditative state and received a revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. He claims this revelation continued for 23 years. The writing is now known as the Quran.

What do all three of the world’s major religions have in common? The end of the world, God’s anger and thirst for vengeance of the evildoers? The problem, who are the evildoers? Which religion shall one believe? Which

heaven shall one believe? Which the hell shall one believe? Many old age prophets and many new age prophets predict the end of the world, but this has been occurring for thousands of years. The concept of distinguishing the difference between the Old Age and the New Age is becoming more complex.

As I said initially, this planet is too small and fragile for the many different religions that preach hatred, punishment, torment, and want the world to end. My journey through deception led me back to what I was taught many years ago by my Chinese Teacher. When one fully understands the untouched history of humankind and its religions, one can rise above the illusion and see, feel, and experience the essence of the pure consciousness of love.

Karma, Right or Privilege?

KARMA, RIGHT OR PRIVILEGE?

by

Hossca Harrison

2011

My last blog, “I only look at the positive, so everything is wonderful,” received such an unexpected response (now over 6,000 written responses), with over 95% positive. I looked at the other responses. Some good questions were presented, questions on Karma and the Law of Non-Interference, regarding bringing awareness in ending child prostitution. The questions presented; does being an activist against child prostitution interfere with someone’s karma, and does it interfere with the Law of Non-Interference? I shall show questions on these two subjects, but first, for many of my new readers who may not know what karma or the Law of Non-Interference is, I shall briefly describe them below.

Karma, a word used worldwide, is used in Eastern religious beliefs, New Age beliefs, yet a word rarely understood. Is karma a “right,” meaning morally justified and correct, or is it a “privilege” to grant distinct benefits? Karma in Sanskrit means to do, to create action, work, and deed. The Dalai Lama’s book Path to Bliss states, “Some people misunderstand the concept of karma. They take the Buddha’s doctrine of the law of causality to mean that all is predetermined, that there is nothing that the individual can do. This is a total misunderstanding. The very term karma or action is a term of active force, which indicates that future events are within your own hands. Since the action is a phenomenon committed by a person, a living being, it is within your own hands whether or not you engage in action.”

My teacher, Jonah, taught the meaning of karma many years ago, which I feel has an obvious and eloquent interpretation. He states, “Karma only exists when unconditional loving does not.”

Many years ago, I asked my Chinese teacher about the Law of Non-Interference. He smiled and stated, “A law most human minds do not understand; thus, they have created many new laws and interpretations. If one wants to understand the meaning of the Law of Non-Interference, one only needs to look at the nature of the universe. For that, which is the creative source of this nature, is also the creative source of humans. Meaning you want to understand, understand physics.”

When he taught me this, almost 30 years ago, I began to study the physics of nature, how nature works, and how nature comes under the law of physics. Philosophers for millenniums have sought to understand the nature of law, what makes a law, and do laws of nature change? Shortly after, I began to study philosophy, my other teacher Jonah taught, “The only absolute is there are no absolutes.” That teaching made me search even deeper into the realm of human consciousness versus nature. Years ago, in my research on physics, I found “Wave-particle duality,” where a physicist observed within a quantum event that the event itself changes by mere observation of the event. The quantum event knows when it is being observed.

This is just like humans. If a person is aware they are being observed, they change how they normally are. I see this all the time in my Tai Yi School when it comes to testing time. A student will come up to the front of the class to demonstrate what they have learned about Tai Yi. They know they are being observed, tested; thus, they change how they would normally be. How often I hear, “But I do better when you are not watching me.” Sometimes I will observe someone, not aware consciously I am watching them. Still, I find subtle changes in their behavior, such as movements, in how they hold their head and hands.

So what does this have to do with Karma and the Law of Non-Interference? Do you create karma through the Law of Non-Interference by observations? What about the Wave-particle duality? I have read statements from psychologists stating they will go out of their way to give incomplete advice to prevent breaking the Law of Non-Interference, thereby avoiding karma. Yet, if they created change in the client by their mere observation, would they not be breaking this law, even if they said nothing?

This is undoubtedly an interesting philosophical topic to discuss. I will present this question; knowing it will make some angry, some will want to explore more, some will agree, some will get more involved, and yes, some will hit the delete button and move on. So here goes. Do some people use the law of Karma and the Law of Non-Interference to avoid taking responsibility as humans to assist humanity? Studying human behavior over the years, I have come across many unique excuses for why some do not want to get involved.

The most pathetic excuse of all time occurred in 1988 through the Universal Education Foundation, which I co-founded. Several volunteers with Rebecca, my wife, met a group of teen boys who had been in detention for one reason or another. One teenage boy I shall never forget. His father, who acted as his pimp, had used him as a sex slave from five to fifteen until he was caught and put in prison. He was now 16 when I met him. I worked with him for that week but knew he would need therapy for years to come. At the end of the week, I asked a psychologist if she would volunteer her time with him, as he would not fully open up to a male. Her response was, “Hey, he is not my karma. Why should I volunteer?”

I asked her what she meant, and she replied, “This kid created this himself. This is his karma. He will need to deal with it, don’t be asking me to volunteer my time.”

I told her, “I will never ask you again, for anything. But, before I go, just a quick comment, perhaps you have chosen the wrong profession.”

I see so many people sitting around waiting to be a New Age enlightened person, the return of Jesus, or some colossal event to occur, something to create change, without getting involved. Abraham Lincoln once said (May 29, 1849), “You can fool some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.”

With all the talk about the end of the world, it breeds the unscrupulous minds to feed on the fear of survival mentality. The savior mentality is a hot commodity. Wouldn’t it be interesting to search the depth of a mind that fully believed in Karma or Law of Non-Interfere, as a way of not getting involved? I mean not getting your hands dirty, being fearful of being the cause of change in someone who has turned their life around because of you, and your choice to get involved. Unfortunately, world peace is not like a virus that can spread worldwide in a matter of days. World peace takes action; it takes energy, not just by the few, but by the many. I think it is particularly confusing to find those who live by the absolute word of Law of Non-Interference, yet expect change and mass enlightenment. For God’s sake, if everyone believed in this law, who would be left to get involved?

If a serial rapist were loose in your neighborhood, would you state you could not get involved because of this law? Would you communicate it is not my karma to get raped? Would you state to one who was raped, this is your karma, and I cannot help you because of the Law of Non-Interference? If you knew the devastating anti-nature of GMO food, would you use the Law of Non-Interference not to interfere not to speak out for humanity’s quality? Perhaps being a spectator when you could have helped is in itself creating karma. Yes, that does show a lack of concern for humanity. Maybe people have this law backward. Perhaps it is about getting involved in change and helping people heal, assisting people in awakening their true destiny.

I know this message is working. I am finding that more and more people who used to sit on the sidelines now get involved. They are getting involved in educating the public on the dangers of GMO food, the risks of Chem Trails, the threat of putting preservatives in vaccinations causing brain damage, the risks of global climate change, the dangers for our children, humanity’s children, being sold into slavery. Please don’t make an excuse; this is not your problem; it does not exist in our country. It is our problem. It does exist in every country on earth, so does GMO food, preservatives in vaccinations, and global climate change. All of this is in your back yard.

I write from a very different perspective on human consciousness. I have had two death experiences in this life. I have had the opportunity to meet and be taught by some enlightened teachers, physical and non-physical (Read Tide of Change). I know what occurs with many people who are self-conscious about getting involved. They are simply working on their enlightenment and raising their vibration by only sending light to others. Indeed some of these people will have some compelling experiences when they travel to the other side.

Many do want to get involved, and they do not know-how. What are the issues in your country?

I consider myself a philosopher, one deeply committed to motivating change in people’s lives. I do not apologize for being an instrument of change in the lives of many people. I do not apologize for getting in the face of parents who mentally and emotionally abuse their children. I do not apologize for pushing parents to see the damage they are doing to their children. Am I breaking laws by being an instrument in the healing of these children? If I am, then I am breaking Eastern religious laws, or New Age Laws, or some law a channel has declared is a law. If I am breaking these laws, they certainly are not Universal Laws of unconditional loving. I am impassioned by having experienced some middle-aged men and women come up to me and state, “You helped me as a child and were the turning point in my life. Without your involvement, I may have gone in a very different direction.”

I have been asked many times to write about my journey this past March to Jerusalem and Petra, Jordan. I shall do this soon; it will be titled “A Journey Through Deception.”

I Only Look At The Positive, So Everything Is Wonderful

I ONLY LOOK AT THE POSITIVE,

 SO EVERYTHING IS WONDERFUL

by

Hossca Harrison

2011

A few weeks ago, I received a letter from a middle-aged woman, religiously involved in the New Age. Her philosophy is, “You only need to look at the positive, and everything will be wonderful.” You may know the type of person I am talking about; they shop around for a teacher who will agree with all their phobias. The shop till you drop syndrome.

I thought I would have a little fun playing with the smorgasbord of spirituality on this ancient rock floating out in space we call earth. How did we humans come to accept such intense spiritual and religious beliefs? Do they work? How many can explore the origins of all their religious and spiritual beliefs? I am not only talking about Christianity or New Age; I am talking about the whole ball of wax, all religions, and spiritual beliefs. Why is it a Muslim can go to war and kill people who may disagree with them and perhaps be killed and go to heaven with forty virgins waiting for him? Where do all the virgins come from? Indeed not Earth, at least in this age! What about the Christians, believing if you accept Jesus the day before you die, you go to heaven even if you murdered or swindled people your whole life? What about a person who lives a decent life and one day gets angry and curses God and dies that day in an accident, is he sent to hell for eternity by his loving God? Please understand; I am not condemning religion or New Age. I am searching for answers, common-sense solutions. I see New Age teachers who are some of the most incredible humans on the planet, teachers who genuinely care and choose to get involved in awakening sleeping souls. I know Christians who are also terrific people, loving and caring, assisting the needy, sick, and elderly. I also know Muslims who are devoted, supporting children in need, feeding the poor, and helping make human life enjoyable. I know Hindus who devote their life to serving humanity. The list can go on and on to all religions, all spiritual beliefs.

We all live on this rock we call home; we are all a part of humanity. Unfortunately, the majority of humankind is passive. Some deceive themselves into thinking, I will send a little light, a small prayer, or some positive thought for humanity’s ills, and therefore, I am involved. How would you explain this to a mother whose young daughter was ripped from her arms and sold into prostitution? Would you honestly tell her, “I am sending you positive thoughts? Everything is wonderful?” Would you say, “It is God’s will.”? Some people tell me I have an issue with people being passive. Yes, I have an issue with this, because as a human, you are part of the solution or are part of the problem. It is much too easy to say, “I will send some light, and everything will be wonderful. I will offer a prayer; I will turn it over to some other source.” We live in a dying, polluted world, a world with outdated beliefs, outdated religions, which produce more harm than good. I received a letter from one who came to me in the ’80s for help. She told me how much that assistance had a profound effect on her life. The object of her letter was to take her off our mailing list. Why? She felt the messages about getting involved and being part of the solution were complicating her life. Would you tell that mother whose daughter was ripped from her arms, “I do not want to get involved because it complicates my life.”?

Old beliefs are outdated and dangerous, like walking through a minefield. Old ideas are also like old technology. Use the old typewriter as an example. The keyboard was designed for typing slowly, so the keys would not jam. We have computers with no keys hitting the paper, yet we use the same keyboard designed to keep one typing slowly. This is a metaphor for old, outdated beliefs that keep us slow, uninformed, out of touch with humanity, to what is occurring on this rock we call earth.

Why does humanity accept slavery? Slavery is more prevalent now than at any time in human history. Why? The outdated beliefs that make us turn the other way, so we do not see it? Is it our old, outdated beliefs that sanitize this from our minds? How does a mind sanitize itself knowing of children being sold into sexual slavery, shipped to any number of countries including America, or your teenage son sold to a corporation running secret factories in Asia and Eastern Europe? How would you react if you were told, “It is not my problem,” or, “Just think positive thoughts, and everything will be wonderful.”? Such rubbish!

A Christian friend said to me, “it was in God’s hands,” referring to slavery. If that is true, then, in my opinion, their God has unusually weak hands. How could it be in God’s hands if slavery is more prevalent now than in past human history? Perhaps it is the God of the Old Testament that promoted slavery.

I asked earlier, why does humanity accept slavery, including the sexual slavery of children? I have asked this question before to people, often their response is, “Humanity does not accept it.” Well, Mr. and Ms. Humanity, the facts prove you accept it; you not only accept it, but you also attempt to sanitize it. If humanity chose to put an end to slavery, it would end. If humanity decided to put an end to polluting, it would end. If humanity chose to put an end to war, it would end. The difficulty is, we put our power and trust in our politicians, governments, and religions to put an end to these abuses. If they wanted to stop slavery, pollution, and wars, indeed, they would.

Has humanity been betrayed by the world’s politicians, governments, and religions? This is not a statement; this is a question. Humanity has the power to stop these abuses. Why does it not – why does it not? I have headed a nonprofit educational foundation salary free for the last thirty-four years, working with abused children. What a sight to behold in children’s eyes when they know the abuse has come to an end, now the healing can begin. That sight keeps me going. Children are our future; let’s remove them from the wastebasket of humanity, of which sanitized minds have placed many.

What can I do? That is a valid question to ask. What can you do? How can you make slavery an issue? What if one person gatherers ten, ten gathers one hundred, one hundred gathers one thousand, one thousand gathers one million, and one million gathers one billion? I guarantee you slavery would come to an end; pollution would come to an end, and war would end.

Perhaps the most significant problem creating this passiveness is the old toxic beliefs from New Age or old age religions. I am going to a better place after I die. Then I will not need to live in this world. It reminds me of an old movie where a young man is rescued from the slums. As he is picked up by a car, he sticks his head out of the window, shouting, “Suffer you suckers, I am out of here.”

Can you seriously imagine this thinking or saying this on their death bed? I can’t either, but I can see some saying it or believing it metaphorically. Perhaps they might come to understand death is not an escape, but only a continuation of life they created.

Perhaps I am fishing metaphorically, waiting for the big one. Maybe this will be it; perhaps some will seriously take this message and make slavery such an issue. Mr. and Ms. Humanity will say enough is enough. We will put a stop to this hideous atrocity.

Over 140 years ago, the United States abolished slavery. Sixty years ago, the U.N. made a declaration banning slavery worldwide, yet today humanity has over 27 to 46 million slaves, more than any time in human history. If the United States and the U.N. have declared this an abomination, why is slavery still alive and growing? Our politicians, our governments, and our religions have failed us; therefore, it is time for us, Mr. and Ms. Humanity, to take action against children being ripped from their mothers’ arms and sold into sexual slavery? Must we wait for this to take action? The American CIA states there are more than 1 million slaves in the United States alone. The U.S. State Department states, 17, 500 slaves are brought into the United States every year.

You are part of the human race; each has a responsibility to assist the human race. If one is in denial of the negative, how is one to heal the negative? Being in denial of child prostitution has never stopped child prostitution. How many times I have heard do not think of the negative, do not dwell on the negative. Taking an active role in assisting humans to heal is not dwelling on the negative. It is creating a plan for healing. Must one know the negative to use the positive to heal the issue? If one denies their humanity, how is one to heal their humanity?

I ask you, now the thousands reading this blog. Let go of the old, outdated beliefs. Get involved. If you are already involved and get others involved, if you are already getting others involved, you are indeed the expression of one who is enlightened to the highest degree, for you are in touch with your humanity.

Check out different sites on slavery, such as www.notforsalecampaign.org or www.freedomcenter.org.

Postscript

What a response. I had to put on my seatbelt for this one. Some stated I was not strong enough; some said I was too strong and did not understand why some want to send light. But the majority, over 95%, felt it was right on, many promising to become more involved and make a difference in our world. We had over 5,000 comments submitted; only a few dozen can be posted. We are still in the process of going through the written comments. We have since stopped accepting comments as it was crashing our site.

For the postscript, some wrote to me asking for an understanding of karma law, and some call it the law of non-interference. They went on to state perhaps that is why some only send light and do not get involved. I found this karma reasoning intriguing, so I read more of what they had to offer, thinking perhaps I will write a blog on karma or the law of non-interference. I shared a metaphor I have often used about a young child next to a busy highway. You are standing next to the child when the child prepares to run in front of an oncoming truck, indeed to be crushed to death. What would you do? Use the law of non-interference, or grasp the child to prevent certain death. Of course, the response I received was to stop the child from being killed but then added this extreme example. An extreme example? Hello humanity, isn’t rescuing a child from being sold into child prostitution also an extreme example? That is what my blog was about. Unfortunately, this extreme example is now common in much of our world.

Both children in the above example are facing certain death. The child being crushed by a truck, certainly in my opinion, will be better off than a child who spent his/her childhood years as a sex slave and then discarded into the trash bin of humanity. But the question remains, is the law of non-interference a valid law? Is the law of karma a valid law? Is it our responsibility to get involved? Is it our responsibility to send light? Just what is our responsibility as a human to humanity? I indeed shall write my next blog, “Karma, a right or privilege.”

Promises Are Cheap, Honor is Priceless

PROMISES ARE CHEAP; HONOR IS PRICELESS

by

Hossca Harrison

2011

The lost art of honoring a promise seems to be blowing in the wind. I will do it. I promise unless a gust of wind blows it out of my mind of commitment. Oh, how human nature seeks to receive a promise, how human nature tries to give a promise. Honor, honoring self, honoring knowledge, and honoring a promise, are attributes that have become diluted by the conflicted mind. Do we not live in a world filled with human promises? Do we not live in a world where politicians issue promises? Do we not live in a world where parents issue promises to their children? How many of these promises are fulfilled? In reality, how many honor their promises?

How many children of the past, now adults, issue promises they honor not? Perhaps honor has become the lost art of human dignity. Socrates once said, “The shortest and surest way to live with honor in the world is to be, in reality, what we would appear to be.”

The human spirit is capable of such honor, yet such corruption. The human spirit can create such beautiful, inspiring art and loving healing hands, yet the human spirit can also create rubbish that even animals would refuse to reside. Are we what we appear to be?

I asked my teacher once, “What is honor?”

His simple reply. “Honor is the foundation of integrity; integrity is the foundation of honor.”

Words? Yes, but words that carry the energy of intelligence. How many walk through life feeling intelligent? How many walk through life feeling integrity? How many walk through life feeling honor? How many feel this when no one is looking? It has been said to me, “Hossca, you have too high expectations of people.”

My answer was, “No, you have too low an expectation of people.” Perhaps that is what keeps pain in one’s comfort zone of closeted beliefs? Does that keep one feeling secure? Does that endorse one’s conviction in survival?

Promises are cheap. Honor is priceless. How many broken promises does one carry in their lifetime, a few, hundreds, or perhaps hundreds of thousands? How does that reflect on the human spirit? How does that reflect on one’s journey seeking real friendships? Perhaps honor is priceless because of its rarity. What type of world would we live in if honor and integrity were a bonded part of the human consciousness? What if every child on earth from birth to three was taught the intrinsic value of honor and integrity? What type of world would exist in thirty, fifty, or seventy years henceforth? You and I both know that is wishful dreaming – or is it?

If you dream, dream big because the conflicted mind often ignores the small dreams.

The energy of consciousness, the energy of the human mind and brain, translates into words. Words are energy. The tonality (quality of tone) of the words is critical in communicating. It is not merely what words are used, but the tonality of the word or words? Three simple words I love you, stated in an irritated voice, do not convey I love you. For ones to state, I will use honor and integrity. I will honor my promises, stated in a vacant tone does not convey the meaning of honesty and integrity. Instead, the energy expressed is the same energy of not honoring the person or a promise.

The word energy can be a very subjective word. Words, the tonality of words, are they a form of energy? Can the correct tonality of words be used to energize one? Can a loving, passionate speech stimulate one into action? Can one energize them using proper tonality of words? Can one be so excited by their tonality of words; they develop the character of honor and integrity?

Are honor and integrity an energetic form of higher consciousness? Is living in the tonality of honesty and integrity a pathway to an expanded consciousness, beyond the rubbish of humans crawling over each other seeking survival?

What would it be like if everything you did; you did with the passion of honor and integrity? What if every promise you make, including the promises to yourself, be filled with honor and integrity? What if the words you use to create your dream are filled with tonality from the heart?

Some of my students have come to me stating they are having difficulties learning or seeking to comprehend the essence and philosophy of Tai Yi. A healing modality, so ancient the current human brain consciousness has difficulties with comprehension. I tell them when you seek to learn with honor and integrity; the ancient comprehension center of the human brain begins to unfold within the ancient brain of a human, a mind not caught up in humans crawling over each other seeking survival. I am referring to the ancient evolved humans, not Neanderthals or Denisovans.

The ancient learning center of human consciousness is passed down from generation to generation of humans. Some use it. Some do not. Perhaps humans of the past created the Klerksdorp Spheres of South Africa, Ica Stones, the Antikythera Mechanism, Baghdad Battery, Ancient Model Aircraft, and Giant Stone Balls of Costa Rica. Or for a brain bender, the fossil of a human handprint estimated to be 110 million years old, or a human footprint possibly wearing a sandal, found near Delta, Utah in a shale deposit estimated to be 300 to 600 million years old. My favorite is the Dropa Stones of China. Are there ones who understand the nature of these ancient artifacts? Some deny their existence and go to the extent of using ridicule to prevent ones from accepting them, learning from them. Why? Why would it matter to them if someone believed in these artifacts? Why would they become angry you might not accept their belief? Perhaps the difference is some activate the ancient part of the human mind, and some use the ancient part of the human brain. Maybe this is why some humans can create and express deep love beauty in art, song, and the written word, and some humans create and live in the sewer of human corruption. Some state, the human mind and the human brain are the same. What if the ancient brain is in denial of the human mind?

Could some use ridicule to suppress the ancient human mind that the ancient human brain fears or vice versa?

If one were to accept the ancient human mind’s philosophy, how could they go about using it? Would one need to live by the principles of the ancient human mind? Could it be so simple as a choice and the power of choice to reject the ancient human brain’s social conditioning? Perhaps the brain is wired to seek survival at all costs. Animalistic nature? Maybe the ancient brain is wired to the Neanderthals or Denisovans, whose main goal in life was to survive. What if Neanderthals and Homo sapiens’ missing link is the Neanderthals did not have access to the ancient human mind? What if the missing link is not a link because they are an entirely separate species?

Honor and integrity are perhaps a key to accessing the ancient human mind. Perhaps by accessing the ancient human mind, one develops the ability to understand ancient teachings on where humans came into existence. Perhaps as my Chinese teacher taught me, “Ones need to know where they came from to know where they are going.”

Why? Because knowing where they came from helps one understand who they are. If one lives in the sewer of human corruption and does not access the ancient human mind, the ancient human brain creates the sewer of human corruption.

Promises are cheap, and honor is priceless. If one wants to become one who honors their promises, including their promise to themselves, use honor, use integrity and perhaps watch the ancient mind begin to open to the many possibilities that exist in life. How many difficulties do you have in life? Do you have money difficulties, health difficulties, or relationship difficulties? Do you believe you deserve these difficulties? What if that belief comes from the ancient brain? Do you think you created these difficulties so someone will take care of you, perhaps a friend, relative, guide, or God? Does your belief system support the ancient brain, or does your ancient mind support your knowledge of what you deserve? Perhaps the most sensitive question of all is whether your spirituality supports the ancient brain of spiritual traditions that pain brings you closer to God, or does your spirituality come from the ancient mind? In this blog, it is not my purpose to state one is right or one wrong. It is all a choice. If the pain continues with the ancient brain, try the ancient mind.

Perhaps try with integrity and honor to yourself.

Maybe there you will find relief from pain.
